Liam Bates World Premiere

  • St Iberius Church North Main Street Wexford, WX Ireland (map)

Musici Ireland return to Music for Wexford for the World Premiere performance of a new concerto for viola and chamber ensemble by Kilmore composer Liam Bates. Famed for his Christmas musical Noel, a collaboration with Eoin Colfer, and Heroes of the Helen Blake, this promises to be a thrilling new work, commissioned by Beth McNinch in 2022.

Join us at 3pm for a conversation with Liam about the commissioning process, something he describes as ”a fascinating, challenging and humbling experience”.
